The Smooth Fitness Agile DMT X1 elliptical trainer provides twelve levels of adjustable motion. Instead of altering or restricting movement with increased tension, adjustable motion adds additional levels of movement to the existing motion. These additional levels of movement recruit more muscle groups to the workout, which creates a more rounded and productive workout instead of fatigue to certain muscles which would shorten a workout session. Conventional ellipticals merely add increased pressure to a select few muscles. The agile adds additional muscle groups incorporating legs, abdominals and arms for a total body workout. When muscle groups are added instead of increased restriction, the workout feels the same, but the results are greater.

The Dynamics of Smooth Fitness Biomechanics begins from the natural walking pattern of our users comprised of a lower leg swing controlled by the natural upward movement of a forward step. Most ellipticals are designed with a “Push Up Convex Motion” mechanic that forces the knee and shin upwards applying stress on the bones and joints, creating a pain in the knee and sharp pains in the shins making working out extremely uncomfortable and painful.
